On Saturday, August 23, 2008 the 7th Annual Sistahs Steppin’ In Pride March and Festival will take place at Lake Merritt and Snow Park in Oakland, California.  The celebration honors the rich history and remarkable presence of the S.F. East Bay’s diverse lesbian and bisexual women’s community. Sistahs Steppin’ is a day of community, celebration and fun including a march around Lake Merritt, a community village with music, food, arts & crafts vendors and non-profit organizations. Become a part of Sistahs Steppin’ Village by renting a booth today.

Time: The Sistah Village will open from 1:00-5:00pm directly following the march which begins at Noon at Astro Park.

Location: Snow Park, Harrison St. between 19th & 20th streets in Oakland, CA.
